Daniel Radcliffe is a unique actor & we respect that, his rare choice in his latest films proves that he is hungry for different characters. Which is why he is unique?

“The old idea that if you’re a film actor, you stick to that
is completely defunct now. If you do, you cut yourself off from great material.
I’m hungry to get as many different characters and types of things under my
belt. As long as it interests me, I’ve got no criteria. I’d love to do more
comedy, maybe even a romantic comedy.” - Dan

Though playing Hogwarts’ most beloved wizard made him a
global superstar (and a very rich one at that), Radcliffe is no longer
interested in starring in Hollywood blockbusters. Instead, he has made a
concerted effort to challenge himself as an actor by taking unexpected roles in
smaller films — such as 2016’s dramatic comedy Swiss Army Man, in which he
portrayed a flatulent corpse named Manny.
Manny was something you cannot see in Hollywood, it made us
laugh and made us cry in the end.

After fleeing from a stage show, the illusionists (Jesse
Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson) known as the Four Horsemen find themselves in more
trouble in Macau, China. Devious tech wizard Walter Mabry (Daniel Radcliffe)
forces the infamous magicians to steal a powerful chip that can control all of
the world's computers. Meanwhile, vengeful FBI agent Dylan Rhodes (Mark
Ruffalo) hatches his own plot against Thaddeus Bradley (Morgan Freeman), the
man he blames for the death of his father.
A Villain is something we haven’t seen in Mr. Potter. This
was new as well.

to infiltrate a white supremacist group that's plotting an act of terror.
A spy in action, that was all some fans wanted from Mr.
Radcliffe.
