Vin Diesel Will Say 'I Am Groot' in Sixteen Languages

Vin Diesel May Voice Groot In Sixteen Languages For Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2

Vin Diesel makes an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (October 13) in New York City.

The 49-year-old actor talked about how his Guardians of the Galaxy director wants him to learn how to say “I Am Groot” in 16 languages as opposed to 6…all because of a segment from The Tonight Show 2 years ago!

“Because it went viral, James Gunn now wants to take it from six languages to sixteen,” Vin said. “Now he wants to do sixteen languages.”

Diesel then demonstrated the line in Korean, which sounds roughly like "Cho Noon Groot Ee-ay-oh." Apologies to any native speakers of that language, on behalf of Diesel.
