Brad Pitt reunites with His Kids for First Time in Weeks since Angelina Jolie Split.
Brad Pitt has finally gotten to spend some time with his kids.
The actor met with some of his children on Oct. 8 for the
first time since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on Sept. 19.
According to a temporary plan recommended by DCFS and agreed
to by Jolie and Pitt, a therapist was present during the meeting.
“Brad loves his children more than anything in this world,
and they matter more than anything else to him,” a Pitt source previously told
PEOPLE. “He will do whatever it takes to be with them, now and always.”
A monitor was present, sources tell Us, adding that both
parties had agreed to the conditions prior to the visit. Per sources, not all
of the kids were present for the reunion. (Reports of Pitt reuniting with the
kids before last weekend, the sources say, are simply inaccurate.)
As Us Weekly previously reported, Pitt, 52, and Jolie, 41,
reached an agreement on a parenting plan that would give the Maleficent actress
temporary physical custody of the children even though the pair continue to
share legal custody.
Jolie requested sole physical custody of their six children
in her divorce filing with visitation for Pitt, while Pitt wants shared
custody.
Until the DCFS recommended plan ends on Oct. 20, both Pitt
and Jolie will undergo individual counseling, along with family therapy. Pitt
will also continue voluntary drug and alcohol testing.
